Message : Hi,
I was at the Hamburg Cabela's today (4/1/06). The Shimano Tour and Team was set up outside this morning. Unfortunately, the weather turned for the worse and everything got moved inside the store. I saw several of the staff and team members walking around interacting with the customers. We wanted to sign up for the contest; however, I could not find the booth or any information about it. When I asked a "team member," he said that I had to do it outside at the trailer and they'd be re-setting up shortly. Much to my dismay, we had to leave and had no chance to enter the contest even after going to get lunch then stopping back. My main suggestion to you would be to set up the booth or at least a small table inside the store somewhere if the outside station is going to be closed. Its not fair to the customers/fans/consumers who want to have a chance in winning some Shimano gear. I was hoping that there was a way to sign up online; but there's not. Perhaps, there should have been entry slips at the front desk of Cabela's or one available online if the customer entered in a reciept number from the store. Overall, I was not entirely satisfied with my experience of the Shimano Fishing Tour.
